The blessing of this blog has been the experience of noticing; I have paid closer attention to the world around me because of my commitment to show up here in Blogland at the end of each day. I already had a photo ready to post, but then as I was walking through the neighbourhood this evening, I noticed a slight movement amongst the flowers and found this furry fellow feasting happily. He didn’t seem at all bothered by my presence, and we spent several companionable moments together before we both needed to move on. I am so in awe of the wonderful diversity that the world has to offer, and I’m so grateful that I am learning to see its beauty.

When the flower blossoms, the bee will come.
