I did not expect to fall so deeply in love with Zurich.  I’m sure the incredible weather has something to do with my euphoria,  and  it definitely played up the city’s charm,  but I think it is the people who make this city what it is. I’ve had such a lovely day that I scarcely know where to start.

This guardian angel,  one of Nike de Saint Phalle’s famous “Nana” sculptures greets visitors arriving at the main train station. Perhaps it was her blessing the made our day so magical.
