Stormy Sighting

Storm Eric has brought us a fair bit of wind and rain in the past 24 hours. For those of us brave enough to venture out to the coast, Mother Nature pulled the tide out farther than normal on the River Crouch and allowed the sighting of some colourful orange sponges which were resplendent as they stuck out above the grey waves.

Jeff was brave and saw it all (and got the photos to prove it)… I stayed home and warm.

  1. Wow! And burrrrrrr! Matching the pounding rain here! I like it that you were warm and dry and still got to see this, and now us too! Thank you!

  2. Hi Kimberly,
What fun and interesting to see sponges, such color hides beneath the sea. We had snow on some of our hills here the other day, very unusual. Still enjoying remembering our visit especially when I sense lavender about! Lots of love, Nydia

  3. I guess I was so impressed, you get two “comments” from me!!!
