Like so many people, I have a special place in my heart for Paris, and, indeed, for all things French, My feet have walked the streets of Paris as a tourist and a pilgrim, and my heart is breaking with the news of last night’s acts of terror. In my spiritual life, I am working with issues of positivity and gratitude, so I walked through my neigbourhood in silence this morning, reflecting on my memories, feeling my grief, and thinking about the many like-minded people who are standing in solidarity with each other as we respond to the story that is unfolding in the world.

Love is the only answer.
