I love the whole idea of city breaks. Three days away, and now we’re home with our hearts and cameras full of memories and images of beautiful places and friendly people. Not to mention crisp days under bright blue skies. Back home in England, the skies are heavy and grey, and the beautiful weather seems long gone. I enjoy our adventures and the sense of having wonderful sights and stories to share, but both my practice and my blog are about walking – and noticing – wherever I am in the world on any given day, the mundane as well as the extraordinary.
Sloshing through muddy puddles, wondering where I’d find beauty in Thundersley after the weekend we had, I was thrilled to find this little wizard peeping out of my neighbour’s ivy. Maybe there’s a bit of magic afoot here, too!
